The Great Monument to Prince Volodymyr is a monument commemorating Prince Volodymyr-the Baptiser of Rus.It dates from 1840,and it is the first sculpture in Kyiv. The designer was a famous sculptor V.Demut- Malinovsky and outstanding architect O.Ton.The statue shows the king with a cross in the right hand and with royal crown in the left hand. When? Who?
