1) Edinburgh Castle - an ancient fortress on Castle Rock in the center of the Scottish capital - Edinburgh. Until recently, it was at the disposal of the British Department of Defense. The castle is open to the public and is Edinburgh's main tourist attraction.

3)The main museum in Scotland, where it will be interesting for both children and adults. Among the most popular exhibits are stuffed sheep Dolly, an outlandish watch, chess from the island of Lewis, carved from walrus bone. On the roof of the National Museum there is a restaurant that is truly secular, luxurious and, of course, quite expensive.

Walking tour of the old city. Visiting the Grassmarket area, a walk around the Royal Mile Royal Mile with a visit to the tartan factory, an old police station, a childhood museum, excavations of the “Merlin Alley”, a visit to St. Giles Cathedral. The simple interiors of the cathedral are complemented by wonderful stained glass windows. Inside is the amazing chapel of the Knights of the Thistle, decorated with solid oak carvings. The end of the day is best spent in the “New City”, whose classic look contrasts so much with the picturesque medieval mess of the Old Town.
