ОЧЕНЬ 1. Adapt to a New Sleep Schedule – Week 1 Summer gives us freedom, a lot of time and enough flexibility for late nights and entire mornings spent on your bed. If your school schedule includes classes early in the morning, don’t wait until the last minute to adapt to a new sleep routine. Try to wake early gradually. Set a different alarm clock each week and set it back until you reach the desired hour. Your body will thank you later.
2. Prepare in advance – Week 1 There’s nothing worse than rushing to get everything done in the last few days before school. The three golden rules are: know your teachers or professors in advance; know what textbooks or material you are going to need for each class; create a wise schedule and choose interesting classes. You can get advice from other students, helpful professors and your friends!
3. Getting new Stationary and Supplies – Week 2 Now that you know what you will need for your future classes, search for the best deals in binders, notebooks, backpacks and pencil cases. Try to re-use any old supplies you have that are still in good shape and revamp them with a few decorations. Some online shops offer great discounts in stationary and used textbooks this time of the year. I will link those websites in the description box bellow.
4. Prepare your wardrobe for the new season – Week 3 A new school year normally means exchanging your current summery outfits for warmer ones (unless you leave in the southern hemisphere, that is.) Either way, declutter your closet, washing all the summer clothes that you don’t think you are going to wear anymore and keep them in plastic bags safely tucked away into boxes. Keep a few fresh outfits at hand just in case. If you have the means to, go shopping with your friends and family and buy a few new pieces and create a capsule wardrobe to simplify your life for the next few years. There are a great many youtubers who give great tips on how to create one!
5. Give yourself closure – Week 3 You’ve had a wonderful summer. Now it’s the time to look back and cherish those memories! Print your favorite photos and create an album – these can be in paper or digital! Ask you friends to collaborate with you and make them sign your album like a yearbook. It’s time to move forward so prepare your studying area or desk for future studying sessions and pack your summer decorations for next year while you listen to your favorite music.
6. Plan your First Week – Week 4 A good way to get inspired for the first school week is to prepare in advance. Since the first week is very light on studying, try to schedule something with your friends and take a trip to the movies or get some ice cream. Also, try to incorporate you first classes into your planner and save time for planning classes in advance for the first week. If you are feeling the pump, why don’t you skim lightly through your textbooks and see what your first classes will be about? You’ll be ahead of the game!
7. Indulge in a mini spa – Week 4 To start the next year with a clean refresh, don’t hesitate to indulge in a mini spa. Take a bubble bath and give yourself a nice facial. Give yourself a manicure and a pedicure and pamper your body after the harsh summer treatment. There’s nothing better than to feel completely revamped when you start your school year
