Fifty years ago, there weren't a lot of cafes, shops, even cinemas in my town. There was USSR then. Actually I don't know about availability of buses in my town fifty years ago, but maybe there were a few.

Now there are a lot of cafes, shops, malls, cinemas in my town. Now there isn't USSR in the whole world :) There are lots of buses in my town nowadays.
