Не понятно почему корректно использовать такие структуры. все предложения взяты из книги "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time". к-контекст. к1: "this is not a metaphor, it is a simile, which means that it really did look like there were two very small mice hiding in his nostrils." 1)it really did look (разве это корректно , если да то почему? разве не правильно сказать it really looked) к2: i said, “i’m sorry,” because father had had to come to the police station, which was a bad thing. 2)здесь вроде бы использован past perfect, но затем ещё раз почему-то снова had to к3: "you had to become an officer in the air force and you had to take lots of orders and be prepared to kill other human beings, and i couldn’t take orders. " 3)зачем тут had, о чём он нам говорит ?
