A bicycle is my favourite mode of transport. It is a means of road transport .A bicycle is one of the oldest modes of transportation feasibly used by common man since ages. Before the advent of science, man used to travel long distances for work, entertainment and trade on the bicycle after discovering the wheel. I own a Hercules cycle, red in colour. It is my proud possession. I love to ride my cycle on the road and I help my mother at home by fetching her daily needs. A bicycle is one such transport which is environment friendly. It spreads no pollution and does no harm to Mother Nature in any way. The costly fuel-Petrol is not needed by the cycle and hence easy maintenance. I recently went to Kodaikanal, a hill station in the south, where I enjoyed my cycle ride around the Kodai Lake. It was a great fun and pleasure to leisurely ride the cycle.
