1. It is the young people who usually occupy managerial posts in the Russian society. They are being hired for being lively, vivid and eager to work (read - eager to earn money). Opinions on their behalf vary, but mostly people approve of the workers. Indeed, as one may tell, it's very beneficial to have a young worker in the company, as his or her mind is rather flexible; moreover, such employee is aware of the informational technologies surrounding him and in most cases familiar with the way of handling them, i.e. operating computers, quicker communicating and more efficient time management.
3. Most of all, 'youngsters' face underestimation. The employers are wrongly convinced of their being incompetent and lacking attention or experience. Well, in some cases their expectations meet reality, but no green employee should be judged generically. It should be taken into account that every young man has potentia within him, and the only thing needed is to release it. It should not be forgotten that they are all graduates, and they have much background knowledge which has not yet been put in practice.
4. The most evident advantage of being a young manager, or simply young, is your appearance, visual self-presentation. And that concerns especially women, who, being young, can climb up the career ladder far more quickly than men. But there are sure opportunities for men, too, hehe.
