Last Sunday night Kate forgot to set her alarm clock,so she overslept and was an hour late for work.Her boss Mrs.Brown called her into the office and told her that because she was late again she could not go on a planned business trip to Rome.Kate was so upset about missing her business trip.Also she completely forgot that she had arranged to meet her boyfriend,Nick,for lunch.

At last the day ended.Unfortunately she could not drive because she lost her car key.She waited at the bus stop for over an hour in the heavy rain and did not get home until 8 o clock.There,she was greeted by a massage from Nick on her answering machine.He was very angry and reminded her that this was the third time she had forgotten to meet him.He said that this was the end of their relationship.Kate felt unhappy.In tears she went to bed.
