Hi, Barry! Thanks a lot for your letter. It (1) (be) so nice to find out about your holiday in Italy. I’m really glad you are having a wonderful vacation. Let me tell you about our summer holidays on a small island in Greece.
​We (2) (travel) there two weeks ago and (3) (stay) for ten days.
The flight was long and tiring, but at the moment we (4) (go) through the hotel doors, the vacation really (5) (begin) to be fun. The hotel (6) (be located) directly on the beach, and we (7) (have) a marvellous view of the sea from our room. Nearby there (8) (be) a small village which (9) (have) only about 300 inhabitants, but lots of small local cafes. We (10) (spend) our days swimming, sunbathing, playing volleyball and having a very relaxing time indeed. We also (11) (take) a number of long walks around the island.
