People the first railways in England in the 1840s. This way travelling from one  side of the country to the other became faster.
A German   Karl  Freidrich  Benz made  the first in 1885. Early cars were very slow. 
 After the first car  the first came. Gottlieb Daimler desighned the first one made of wood and iron.
The first appeared in 1895 and it was called “omnibus” Later they became very popular. ​
