Fire Daily life in the castle
Inside the castle, there was a
in every room but it was always
dark and cold. The servants
prepared food in the kitchen and
served it on tables in the Great
Hall. The lord of the castle often
shared a room with his family.
People didn't wash often and
they usually dropped rubbish in
the moat. For this reason, the
castle was also smelly and dirty.​
