Jane: Fran, I need some help in the kitchen. What are you doing right now?

Fran: I'm watching TV. What do you want me to do?

Jane: Well, I am trying to put some things on the top shelf of the cupboard. Can you pass them to me so I don’t have to get on and off the chair to reach up all the time?

Fran: Of course. I am not watching anything interesting, anyway.

Jane: Thanks!
