Dear John, Thank you for your recent letter. It was great to hear from you. I'm sorry I haven't been in touch for such a long time. a I think you might be (interest) to know that my parents decided to have a dog last week. They brought home a little Toy Terrier puppy. He is very funny and naughty. I like to play with him, but he (constant) chews on carpets and furniture, and also leaves a lot of wool on the carpets. I hope that when he grows up, the problems with cutting teeth will go away. He is very sad and cries when he is left alone at home, so we always try to take him with us when we leave home.
