My favourite TV chef was Keith Floyd. His programmes were more interesting

than other cookery shows. I don't think other TV chefs are passionate about food as he was. I think he was also the friendliest chef and he loved chatting to people from all over the world on his show. I think today's cookery shows are ___ serious than Floyd's shows.

The series he presented was when he went to the USA – he showed the culture and people as well as the food and cooked everything from barbecued meat to delicious sea food. The exciting place he visited was Memphis – he met people who knew Martin Luther King, went to Elvis Presley's home and watched a blues concert.

The funniest programme was somewhere in the wild west. He cooked something for two cowboys, but they didn't like it and gave it to their dog – but Keith still showed that part on his programme. Not many TV chefs would be as brave as that nowadays!
