My trip to Dubai
I had never (1) to the Middle East
until we went to Dubai. We went for five days
and we had a brilliant time, much better
than I (2) imagined. I had been
(3) that I would be bored, but I wasn’t.
First of all, we visited the Burj Khalifa which is the

the top we had a great view of the Palm Islands,
which are some of (5) world’s largest
man-made islands. The next day, we went to the
Atlantis Waterpark. There are lots of slides there,
including the Leap of Faith, which is 27.5 metres

was one of the most exciting rides (7) ,
for me. We also visited the Dubai Mall, one of the
world’s (8) shopping centres. It also
has an aquarium and a zoo. On the last day, we
took a tour. We found that Dubai was not as new

I had (10) expecting, but Dubai wasn’t
how I had imagined it. It was much better.
