Past Simple is one of 12 tense forms in English. It is mainly used to describe a particular or regular action in the past. It is also used when there are some actions without a big period of time between each other. The auxiliary verb is Did. Formulas:

Affirmative: Subject + Ved or V2

Negative: S + did not + V

Interrogative: Did + S + V ?
