When you woke up this morning, you had your first encounter
with agriculture. Your sheets and pajamas were probably made with
the fibers from cotton plants.
Did you wash or shower with soap? That soap is made from fat
from cattle and oil from plants such as palm, corn and soybeans.
Did you have cereal, eggs, milk, bacon, sandwich or juice for
breakfast? Say thank you to agriculture again!​
