4) Did Alice knock at the door? Did any-

6) Why did everybody sneeze?
The two servants were described as "twin brothers" and they were identical in appearance. They were both short and stout, with identical round faces, shiny bald heads, and identical pairs of long, thin arms. They also wore identical livery with bright buttons.
2) Were they funny?
Yes, the servants were quite funny. They looked so similar that Alice couldn't distinguish between them and called them "one person" instead of two. They also had a habit of finishing each other's sentences, which added to their comedic effect.
3) Who was sitting on the ground near the door when Alice came back from the forest?
When Alice came back from the forest, she found a large frog sitting on the ground near the door of the house. The frog was seemingly a visitor or guest at the house.
4) Did Alice knock at the door? Did anybody open the door?
Alice did not knock at the door. Instead, she directly walked into the house because she saw the door was open. Nobody opened the door for her because it was already open.
5) What did Alice see when she came into the house?
When Alice came into the house, she found a great crowd of creatures gathered inside. There were animals such as a Dodo, a Lory, a Duck, a Guinea-pig, a Parrot, and various others. They were all wet because they had been in the water, which Alice presumed came from the pool in the neighboring forest.
6) Why did everybody sneeze?
Everybody inside the house started sneezing because a huge quantity of pepper had been spilled into the air. The pepper made everyone start coughing and sneezing uncontrollably. Even Alice caught the sneezing fit but managed to save herself by holding her nose and swallowing a little pepper.
