Thousands of people get injured or die in disasters. All these natural disasters occur all around the world. In January 2020, Taal volcano erupted in the Philippines. The plume coming from the Taal volcano, stretched about 1km (0.6 miles) into the sky. Seismologists warned of the possibility of further hazardous eruptions and thousands of people were evacuated from surrounding areas. A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 occurred in the west coast of Turkey. The earthquake led to the destruction and damage of houses in the province of Izmir. A small tremor caused huge waves that hit coastal areas and islands in Turkey. Sixty-two deaths confirmed, but dozens of people remain unaccounted for following the quake.
