A 1 We had a bad experiente when we were on holiday

a few years ago. We hired a car and went exploring on

the coast.

A In the Canary Islands - in Fuerteventura, to be exact.

and we decided to leave the main road. We were driving

in some sand when, suddenly, the car got stuck.

husband - he went right when I said left, and suddenly,

we were lost and stuck.

B So, what did you do?

A We walked about five kilometres to the nearest road,

and then we got a taxi back to our hotel, where we

called for help.
