1. I was 14 years old when I first became interested in archaeology. I was looking for fossils one Sunday afternoon when I made the discovery that made me famous. I will never forget the feeling of seeing it there in the ground for the first time. It was awesome!

Mistakes:
a. "then" should be replaced with "when" to show the sequence of events.
b. "I am never forget" should be changed to "I will never forget" to indicate a future action.
c. "It was awesome?" should be changed to "It was awesome!" to express excitement.

2. We were in the Chemistry lab at school when we noticed the strange smell. All of a sudden, there was a loud bang. What was going on? Our teacher walked in from a lab next to ours. Her hair was a mess, and her glasses were black with smoke. Luckily, she was more shocked than hurt. "What happened, Miss?" asked one of my classmates.

Mistakes:
a. "All of a suddenly" should be changed to "All of a sudden" to indicate a sudden event.
b. "Lucky" should be changed to "Luckily" to match the adverb form.
c. "What happened, Miss?" should be inside quotation marks to indicate it is a direct quote.

3. The school trip to the science museum is a day I'll never forget. We had a great time at the museum. When we were going back to meet the others at the bus to go home, my friend and I got stuck in a lift. The lights went off, and the alarm didn't work. We were in trouble. What were we going to do?

Mistakes:
a. "I'll never remember" should be changed to "I'll never forget" to express a lasting memory.
b. "We were on trouble" should be changed to "We were in trouble" to indicate being in a difficult situation.
c. The question "What we were going to do?" should be changed to "What were we going to do?" to form a proper question structure.

Overall, it is important to pay attention to correct verb tenses, punctuation, and question formation when correcting the mistakes in these extracts.
