and a soothsayer.
Once he was sitting in the mountains, holding a horse's skull in
his hands, and he complained bitterly. At this time, Janybek Khan
was riding past Tolubai Synchy. He saw Tolubai, rode up to him and
asked why he was so sad. Tolubai replied: "That was a good horse,
but fell into bad hands." Then Janybek Khan called him to his place,
